New Jersey Rules of Evidence


The New Jersey Rules of Evidence apply in all proceedings, civil or criminal, conducted by or under the supervision of a court.  These rules may be relaxed to admit relevant and trustworthy evidence in the interest of justice except as otherwise provided .
